World Environment Day is here! India is the host nation for World Environment Day 2018 and Envirate is proud to celebrate the day with a good company.
This year’s theme is to #beatplasticpollution. It’s estimated that there shall soon be more plastic in the ocean than fish as we buy a million plastic bottle every minute.

Envirate and ENO announce that the City Rating Challenge is on – so act now!
Envirate was introduced to ENO for the first time last year when Envirate launched its award-winning mobile application at ENO’s international Act Now conference on June 15th 2017 in Joensuu. The global ENO network has planted over 20 million trees and has established a network of over 10 000 schools in 150 countries. The ENO network has excellent know-how and experience in tree planting activities.
What’s Earth Day, and what can You do? – Today, global Earth Day is a good reminder, that we should consider each day as “an earth day”. It originated out of a growing global ecological awareness back on April 22, 1970. Now more than 1 billion people in 192 countries take part in what is the largest civic-focused day of action in the world. – It is a day for an example of planting trees or cleaning up neighbourhoods and oceans or nature walks.
Environmental Seminar of Miss Multinational was arranged in 22nd of February, 2018, at Kaushalya World School, Greater Noida, India. The seminar was organised in association with Environment Online, Act Now India (Global Virtual Schools or Environmental Awareness and Sustainable Development), and Envirate.
The City of Dehradun is the first city in India, which has the city centre environment rated. Dehradun is the capital of Uttarrakhand, the most populous state in India.
The quality of the environment in the centre of Amsterdam have been rated. The maps below show ratings of the city environment by Look and Breathe.
From now on, ratings will be given on a scale from 0 (very bad, red colour) to 5 (excellent, green colour). Scores between 2 and 3 indicate neutral ratings. Extensive user feedback has shown that this change will lead to more intuitive and easy rating experience for you.
Our campaign in Finnish cities was completed, resulting to over 5,000 data points gathered in Finnish cities.
